March 26, 2019

SideLine Scout, the leader in video replay & analysis training software, announces Olympic Silver Medalist Michael Hixon as its first global brand ambassador. The partnership kicks off as SideLine Scout announces its #morethanvideo campaign.

“We have enjoyed working with Michael the past few years while competing for the Indiana Hoosiers and are excited that we can expand our relationship with him as he trains for Gold in 2020.”

“SideLine Scout has received great input from Head Coach Drew Johansen and the Indiana Hoosier family as well as introducing us to the sport of Diving, so Michael Hixon was a natural fit to serve as our first global brand ambassador,” said Steven Smallwood, President, SideLine Scout. “We are deeply committed to delivering an unmatched experience to help athletes perform at their best and we know Michael will help drive that vision,”

Improvement starts with analysis and analysis starts with SideLine Scout. I’m thrilled to endorse and partner with a company that’s focused on providing easy to use technology to the sport of diving.

About SideLine Scout
Established in 2013 to pioneer video replay for High School football and then burst onto the Diving scene in 2016 with help from Head Coach Drew Johansen, SideLine Scout was the video replay and analysis system for the United States Olympic Diving team as they made a big jump in performance in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Due to the portability of SideLine Scout, the team was able to travel to Rio and use it in multiple practice sessions in preparation for the competition. In early 2018, the SideLine Scout team recognized a need as they traveled around the country working with swimming and diving programs for a hands-free low-cost system. Many pools use TiVo like systems to provide a delayed replay for the athletes to view their previous dives as they exit the pool. These systems have become old and antiquated, so to solve this problem SideLine Scout developed a High Definition hands-free delayed replay application called PoolSide Live. This application runs on an Apple TV 4K and was designed specifically for the aquatic community. More information on this product can be found at PoolSide.Live
